Is everyone in blogland knitting Jaywalker socks? Whats the attraction? Is there something hidden in the ribs if I stare at it long enough? *eyes cross*

Ooh, I could use bigger boobs and/or a penis, I'd better cast on right away! I really don't know which one I'd like more... (I should probably hope for bigger boobs though, for Nick's sake)
I think it's the draw of simple socks that have a unique look and were written specifically for striping. A lot of people read the designer's blog and saw the design process, so that probably doesn't hurt either.

I'm not knitting them. Yet. Of course, I'm always a little slow on these types of things. Just now knitting a Clapotis, so more than likely next year at this time, I'll start a pair of Jaywalker socks.

regarding trends -- i STILL have the koigu and charlotte's web pattern from a couple years ago. unknit.
