Ok so I'm going to go ahead and get some yarn for Lady Eleanor - but I can't decide between Silk Garden or Kochoran. Silk Garden is significantly less expensive (nearly half) but Kochoran is Angora/wool omg dying of softness goodness. I may just have to sell my kidney for this stole.
However - in order to justify said yarn purchase, I am clearing out some of my stash. I've put up on Ebay my Colinette Point 5 (ridiculously expensive in a blindingly loud color) and three bags of my Elann Peruvian Pure New Wool. I'll probably toss up that Cotton Sonata in the coral color if I dont have anyone I know wanting it in a swap. Refer to my Stash Flashing if you are interested in it
PS - If you are one of those people that feel offended by any blatant stash flashing or oogling over yarn porn, or are feeling left out *hugs and gives you a cookie* Life's too short to be that easily ruffled people!
I'd go with Kochoran myself, Silk Garden has those annoying little silk bits that stick out and fall off. Err...unless you happen to like those silk bits. Then Silk Garden is the way to go.

I would go for the Kochoran too, especially if you're going to wear just sleeveless tops underneath. Well worth the extra cost.

You must know I think you should use the Kochoran too. You won't be disappointed one bit, trust me. It's some scrumptious stuff.
I'm loving your picovoli! You did a fabulous job and you couldn't be more cuter in it. Good for you!

I can't really give an opinion on which yarn to use, but I'm dying to know which colorway you're using?

Hurrah - I'm so excited! Shall I add you to the list of participants?
Hmmm..well I don't think you'd need as much Kochoran, because it's bigger gauge right? Perhaps that would offset some of the $ difference? And ebay, ebay, ebay, baby. Little knits usually has great prices.

I came over here just to prove the point you made in Jillian's comments. This is exactly how I originally found bloggers, was by clicking on the comments and commenting on other people's blogs. And with your green-colored glasses, you hit the nail right on the head. I'm very pleased to meet you.

on ebay Kochoran is only 21% more expensive per yard, and it is 3.5% cheaper per gram. i have some in color 10, the colors are so beautiful and muted, none of the random too bright shades that so often ruin otherwise perfect noro colorways.

Life is indeed too short to be ruffled by the silliness that's been going around lately. Sheeeesh!
